Job Description

Liaise with the Commercial Team to construct/maintain the demand plan from forecasted volumes to support the S&OP process. To regularly complete data analysis on these volumes to drive forecast accuracyClient DetailsOur client are a dynamic manufacturing business located in Beverley, East Yorkshire that are market leading in Europe in their field.New products are always being developed in-house, meaning they are continually growing and expanding. They have ambitious, realisable growth plans.They are looking for a competent Demand Planner to join the growing supply chain team.DescriptionThe Demand Planner role will involve:

  • Continual liaise with Commercial to construct/maintain a detailed demand plan using forecasted volumes incorporating seasonality, promotions and new product launches
  • Routinely complete data analysis across the customer forecasting Vs actual; drive improvement and to actively support the S&OP process
  • Raise works orders on MRP system
  • Daily review on sales requirements with subsequent adjustment on factory production plan
  • Schedule work on a daily basis across all production lines in Solvents & Fillers factories with regular monitoring and adjustment as appropriate.
  • Systems management and administration on MRP
  • Part configuration set-up within MRP
  • Periodic review on FGs stock levels to achieve optimum line efficiency and service attainment targets (OTIF)
  • Liaise with Purchasing on parts availability and adjusting the scheduled work whilst still meeting customer requirements ~ MRP impact.

Experience & Skills:
  • High level of computer literacy
  • System knowledge
  • Communication skills both internally and externally
  • Relevant planning experience in Manufacturing industry, ideally in a Demand Planner role
  • Proficient on Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Power BI - preferred.
