Would you like to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced environmentWe are looking for enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills, confident IT skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to join Assessments and Payments.You will be dealing with the financial assessments of client contributions for residential, non-residential, and childcare services. You will also be providing excellent customer care through the telephone, email, and letters.Together with keeping your knowledge up to date via the web, publications, briefing notes, and training opportunities and maintaining set performance targets, you will also be contributing ideas to improve ways of working.Full training will be provided and there will be opportunities to progress within the Revenues and Benefits Service area.Hours: 37 per week.The council is undertaking a review of pay and reward as part of its ambitions to attract and retain employees by having effective pay and development structures in place to support modern ways of working and to support the provision of council serviceswhich meet local priorities.
