AccountantSalary: £34,000 - c£38,000Benefits: Study assistance if required to complete qualification Bonus scheme 35 hour week Hybrid working options after probationary period Free on site parkingLocation: Beverley, East YorkshireA great opportunity for a part qualified/newly qualified accountant looking to join a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company operating internationally in a fast-moving sector.THE ROLE: The successful candidate will have a dual reporting line and business partner both the UK Finance Manager and a Financial Controller based in the US.Preparation of monthly management reports, maintain balance sheet records and provide monthly KPI informationAssist the Financial Controller to ensure compliance with state business registrationsManagement and payment of taxes across North AmericaEnsure key controls & functions are developed with the changing demands of the businessPreparation of USA statutory financial statements with the help of the advisorsPreparation and submission of sales tax returns where requiredManage sales tracking system, credit control and assisting where necessary to resolve customer queriesPoint of contact for payroll bureaus in the USA and Canada, submission of payroll data to bureausUndertake ad hoc projects as required by the CFO and Finance ManagerProvide support to purchase ledger as and when requiredTHE CANDIDATE:Ideally a part qualified ACCA/CIMA studying accountant, you might also be newly qualified and looking for a new challenge to grow and develop your skills with international involvementSystems literate, particularly with Excel and with the ability to meet deadlines, you are an excellent communicator at all levels and enjoy a team playing environmentYou have an enquiring mind and have an investigative, proactive and analytical approach to your work, able to not only identify problems but provide solutionsMost of all you enjoy working with a supportive, friendly and sociable team while at the same time having the ability to also work independentlyTHE COMPANY:Based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, my client is a service provider to an exciting and sustainable sector operating internationally.
