Do you have MSDS, REACH and CLP experience and are you looking for a new role I am currently looking for a Regulatory Affairs Administrator to join a chemicals manufacturing company in the construction industry at their site based near Derby, on a full time, permanent basis.The Company:Our client is a well-established chemicals manufacturing company and the Regulatory Affairs Administrator is now required to join their R&D department. Reporting to the Technical Director, the ideal person will have prior regulatory or product stewardship experience. The company offers a salary in the region of £25-35,000 depending on experience, as well as pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays which increase with service, and an early finish on a Friday. Location:This role is located near Derby in Derbyshire and the site is easily commutable within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.The Role:Your main duties will be:- Producing both UK and European MSDSs using software programmes.- Liaising with chemical suppliers throughout the world to maintain regulatory compliance.- Liaising with customers to answer regulatory questions and give best advice about the companys products.- Keeping up to date with current and changing regulations (CLP, GHS, BPR, REACH, Poison Centres, Waste Regulations etc.).- Liaising with designers and artwork providers to implement chemical labelling updates.- Involvement with third party external auditors for continuing ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance.- Liaising with European colleagues to provide regulatory support.- Any additional duties which may be necessary.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:- Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related subject.- Previous industry experience in similar regulatory or product stewardship role.- Good people skills to handle both internal and external customers.- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.Please note that your CV should show exact dates of employment (month and year) and any gaps of a month or more should be explained.CK Group is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all who meet our selection criteria.If you do not hear back from us within 5 working days of your application for this role, it means that on this occasion you have not been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment campaign.
