Job Description

Our Client are looking to expand there team in Belper with a new Production Engineer.Client DetailsWe are currently working with a leading Manufacturing organisation in Belper, the company is the second-largest European manufacturer in this sector.Description

  • The successful applicant will work within the department that is responsible for all
  • current model, new product introduction, engineering, and continuous improvement
  • activities within the plant.
  • You will be part of a team of engineers collaborating across functions, from Production,
  • Quality, Supply Chain, and maintenance.
  • Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring
  • production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives are achieved.
  • Participation in the Daily Start-up/Accountability meeting as required.
  • Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production.
  • Manage and implement production IT improvement projects across site.
  • Support electro-pneumatic production test equipment.
  • Working with NPI Project engineers to implement new products to existing and new
  • production lines.
  • Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation
Profile
  • Experienced Production Engineer ideally from industrial engineering background
  • Ability to design and implement manufacturing layouts and processes
  • Computer literate - Microsoft and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of design and production costs including waste, downtime scrap and rework
  • Experience of 5 S
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
