Job Description

  • Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives.
  • Participation in the Daily Start-up/Accountability meeting as required.
  • Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production.
  • Manage and implement production IT improvement projects across site.
  • Support electro-pneumatic production test equipment.
  • Working with NPI Project engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines.
  • Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation.
Profile
  • A background in a Mechanical/ Electrical engineering discipline is required and the relevant practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally educated to degree level but individuals with HNC, relevant qualifications and industrial experience will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of automated assembly management systems and production IT systems.
  • A proven track record as a process / manufacturing engineer delivering significant value to an organisation and have a sense of urgency to deliver to your internal customers solutions on time and to requirement.
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with cross-functional teams plus a key team player is essential to this role, you will need to have good interpersonal skills and be a proactive engineer able to work with all levels of an organisation.
  • Possess a practical approach to problem solving using A3 / 8D problem solving methodology, analytical with experience of robust data driven decisions.
