Job Description

An apportunity for a procurement professional tojoin a growing department and rapidly growing business.Client DetailsA global manufacturing organisation who have made their stamp within the market they specialise in.   • Manage specific commodity groups and suppliers for local purchasing tasks.
  • Working with other VIUK Departments; Logistics and Supply chain, Quality and Engineering to manage local purchasing issues
  • Manage Finance related issues.
  • Manage purchasing related SAP data.
  • Manage purchasing actions for engineering changes.
  • Manage new product introductions locally.
  • Setting up spare parts for the spares department.
  • Required to conform to all Quality and HS&E related policies and procedures.
  • On site supplier visits combined with effectiveness audits as a basis for effective supplier development.
  • Any other tasks and duties as may be directed by your line manager.
  • Issues relating to delivery performance (OTIF) and quality performance of suppliers.
  • Managing related suppliers liaising with Group Commodity Buyers to align with Group commodity strategies and Group policies and procedures, guaranteeing supplier performance in line with plant goals and objectives.
Profile
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C and above
  • Degree Educated
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Interested in data analysis
  • Good excel skills
  • Data analytical skills
  • Experience of Microsoft and outlook
  • SAP experience desirable not essential
