Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading group of companies based in Derbyshire as they look to recruit a Group Management Accountant into the team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidated management accounts production for approximtaely25-30 active companies to make up the group
  • Conduct financial analysis of projects
  • Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, track variances against budgets, and implement strategies to control and minimise expenses
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insights into the companys financial performance
  • Define and track key financial and operational performance metrics to evaluate project and business performance
  • Analyse budget vs. actual results, identify variances, and collaborate with project managers to make informed decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and provide support for tax-related matters
  • Maintaining financial compliance and helping prepare the department for external audit
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and business growth
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive the companys success
  • Contribute to the enhancement of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy
Person Specification: -
  • Newly Qualified (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
  • Proven experience in management accounting
  • Understanding of financial compliance
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
