Looking for a proven and experienced 3PL Transport Operations Manager to come work for a growing national leading provider of haulage, distribution and logistics services throughout the UK based in Bellshill.
Role is ideal for an ambitious individual who has the experience of running a busy transport operation and desire to progress.

Description

Directly responsible for ensuring that the transport function operates safely and to our customers expectations.
Accountable for site P&L
Good knowledge of site Health and Safety
Hands on approach with Real drive and ambition
Be able to bring new and innovative ideas
Working with a fleet consisting of 50 artics and 100 trailers

Profile

Proven ability to manage operational and commercial aspects of a transport depot
Over 5+ years experience working as a Transport Manager
Good knowledge of a Hire and Reward environment - Preferably at Ops level
Ability to engage and develop team members a must
General Haulage knowledge a must
An ability to develop structures
Transport Manager CPC essential
