The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are currently working with an internationally recognised drinks brand based on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.Our client has recently realised that they require a part time (28 hours), per week treasury accountant on a permanent basis.The role reports into the head of finance and sits within a large, commercial accounting team who sit within a global finance function,The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide treasury advice to the widder business and to review where the companies cash position sits on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the business to assist in decision support activitiesand will also be involved in process improvements to aid future reporting.On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Support the delivery of Treasury reporting process, through planning, accuracy and completeness of information in line with Group reporting timelinesPreparation and analysis of month and year end reporting for areas of treasury including forex, interest, group cash, intercompany fundingSupport the delivery of the intercompany funding processPreparation and analysis on Treasury forecasting including forex and working capital, cash management and interest for budget and latest estimates in line with the finance calendarCollation and support with the analysis of information relating to the global insurance programmeSupport the delivery of cash flow forecasting across, including the preparation and analysis of the group 13-week rolling forecastProvide financial reporting support, ad hoc analysis in respect of project across Group TreasuryThe RequirementsWe are seeking a candidate who is professionally qualified or an individual who has specific and in depth experience of working within a treasury accounting environment (within the UK). We see this role has being highly analytical and as such requireindividuals who can demonstrate this competency.
