Our client is a leading manufacturer, who as a result of sustained growth need to appoint an ambitious Mechanical Fitter to their team.Although based at the Lanarkshire site most of the time, there will be a requirement to travel, so applications are sought from only applicants prepared to travel globally.Reporting to the Engineering Manager you shall be part of a small team that ensure the firms products is either installed, commissioned, maintained/repaired properly ensuring maximum productivity for the clients.It is expected that you shall be a time-served fitter, toolmaker or machinist who has worked in a complex engineering environment post qualification. You will be expected to read and understand part, sub, and G/A drawings, tolerances and bearing fits, stripmechanical components, and have at least a rudimentary understanding of pneumatics, cylinders, and hydraulics, coupled with a basic understanding of electrical circuits.On offer is the chance to work for a firm where your hard work and dedication shall be encouraged and rewarded, with a robust training program.
