Job Description

Legal Secretary Location: GlasgowHours of work: 9am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 DOEExperience: Legal/Residential Conveyancing/Paralegal/SecretaryWhat the role will require you to do

  • Dealing with telephone calls
  • Submitting offers
  • Typing and filing
  • Preparing Standard Securities, Dispositions and other conveyancing deeds
  • Preparing LBTT submissions
  • Submitting Advance
  • Notices Requesting loan funds, redemption statements, title deeds and reports
  • Preparing Cash Accounts
  • Attending to post-settlement registration matters
  • Any other duties to assist in the settlement of transactions
A bit about you
  • Must be able to use own initiative
  • Must be comfortable communicating with people from all backgrounds and skill levels via e-mail and phone
  • Excellent time management
  • Able to prioritise workload and work to timescales
  • Ability to work proactively and multitask
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good listener
  • 1 year minimum conveyancing experience
