Job Description

Night Shift HGV TechnicianOur client are looking for experienced HGV Technicians who can ensure their customer vehicles are back on road within the shortest period possible. As a HGV Technician, you will be required to service, adjust and repair vehicles or components using the tools in a safe, efficient, professional manner and within the allocated time and required standard.About our client:Our client have a network of 32 dealer locations across the UK including 4 body-shops and accident repair centres. Their portfolio is ever expanding and are looking for a HGV Technician to join them in their Bellshill dealership on a permanent basis.Contract:- Permanent- 46 hours per weekSalary:- £40,664 per annum Shifts:- Rotational - WK 1: Mon - Thurs 19:00pm - 7:00am WK 2: Tues - Fri 19:00pm - 7:00amLocation:- BellshillMain duties will be:- To observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.- To examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT).- To interpret and implement technical service instructions data, and to indent such information for replacement.- To carry out roadside repairs and to recover defective or damaged vehicles within the terms of the law.
