HGV TechnicianAt Riverside Truck Rental we are dedicated to investing in the Training and Development of all colleagues. As a HGV Technician you will be fully supported by your workshop management team and training will be provided if required.HGV Technician Responsibilities:• Routine servicing and MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards• Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained to a roadworthy standard• Diagnosing and subsequent repairing of all types of faults• Completing documentation in line accurately with required company standard• Working with colleagues as required to ensure customer service is at a premium• Split shift pattern – 6am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (week 1) 11.30am to 9pm Monday to Thursday and 10.30am to 8pm Friday (Week 2)HGV Technician Requirements:• HGV Technical qualification - NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent• Class 2 licence preferred• Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry• An understanding of excellent customer service• Good team player but able to work on own initiative• Experience in the Waste/Recycling industry would be an advantage• Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practicesAbout Riverside Truck Rental:Riverside Truck Rental has built an excellent reputation for providing quality fleet services since its formation in 1996.
