Job Description

Finance Administrator

  • Annual Salary: £23,000 - £27,000
  • Location: Bellshill
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our client at a dynamic and diverse group of companies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of VAT and CIS tax would be advantageous.The successful candidate will be part of a 6-member Finance Team and will be based at Bellshill. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Adding new Contracts, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, and Operatives to the COINS finance system.
  • Conducting sub-contractor weekly payment runs and IR35 checks.
  • Processing overhead invoices and petty cash transactions.
  • Managing credit applications for new suppliers.
  • Preparing and executing retention release payments.
  • Responding to queries in Credit Control & Finance mailboxes.
  • Undertaking credit control duties.
  • Analysing and reconciling credit card transactions.
  • Reconciling petty cash and conducting CIS reconciliations.
  • Executing supplier payment runs and overhead re-charge journals.
  • Completing month-end tasks and VAT checks for Proforma payments.
  • Assisting with Web expenses claims and other administrative duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Diligence and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems.
