Job Description

This exciting position sits within their Entertainment Services and entails carrying out a number of important tasks on behalf of our prestigious client.The Operations Supervisor will hold full responsibility for Facility Management and Health and Safety as well as playing a pivotal role in both People and Client Management. This position also has overall responsibility for coordinating all storage, customer assets and Information Management services within the facility.This role will support the customer by communicating accurate, timely and relevant information for their many and varied requirements. The role will be the face of company on the premises and will be the first point of contact for all/any customer queries or request for information regarding their service provision.Differentiating value proposition to customers by building strong relationships, both internal and external, and taking ownership for overall customer satisfaction. The Operations Supervisor will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities across all product lines and being the advocate of the customer internally.If successful, your main duties will include but are not limited to:Service Delivery:- Understanding customers’ information needs & objectives.- Responding to requests for maintenance issues. - Providing full and detailed daily maintenance checks. - Providing guidance and assistance where required.- Enhancing position as a trusted partner to customer staff and contractors.- Ensuring that established working processes are adhered to by company, their Client and contractors on site.- Creating and maintaining close relationships their Clients and Customers.- Interfacing with off site Operations Managers, Customer Service personnel and Account management teams.- Working closely with other third party suppliers or agents as required.- Addressing and resolving local customer requests from multiple national and international sites.Compliance:- Ensuring adherence to customer procedures and processes including HSE protocols.- Ensuring all customer SLA’s are adhered to and communicated to General Manager where required. - Ensuring communication updates are being provided to appropriate teams.- Ensuring the team delivers in keeping with their role duties and objectives.- Managing the administration processes where required.- Ensuring an excellent communication path between company and the customer representatives. - Building strong relationships with existing individual customer. - Supporting and enhancing core values at every level of operation.- Demonstrating a commitment to excellence towards the customer.Training:- Ensuring all customer mandatory training is completed.- Ensuring all mandatory training is completed by you and your team within required timescales.- Conducting in-house training when required.Project Management:- Leading projects designated by customer representatives as required.What they offer:- An attractive starting salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience). - A competitive annual bonus.- Pension scheme and flexible benefits (including healthcare).- 20 days annual leave plus public holidays.What they require:The successful candidate should have the following skills and attributes:- This role would be particularly well suited to someone who has experience in Operations, Warehouse, or Facility Management. - Experience of effectively managing Health and Safety within a facility/organisation. - The ability to independently make important decisions and changes where required. - The ability to manage important projects in line with company and the Client’s objectives and strategies. - Experience of Client Management. - Extensive experience of managing both premises and teams. - A key interest and experience in providing optimum levels of security. - Experience in Managing confidential/highly important stock or information would be a distinct advantage for this position. - Experience of handling and resolving complex issues where they arise. - The ability to effectively communicate with a variety of key stake holders. - The ability to manage and communicate large volumes of data and information. - IT literate with knowledge and experience of using Microsoft based packages (Word/Excel/ Outlook).- The ability to learn bespoke software specific to requirements.- The ability to take on the responsibility of being an on call Manager out-with regular working hours.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and innovative organisation where various training and progression opportunities are available.Please apply online with your CV and covering letter.Please check your email for confirmation that your application has been received and to follow further instructions if applicable.Simplified Recruitment is a Job Advertising Agency working on behalf of a client.
