Private Site Fundraiser - Belfast/Lisburn/Antrim/Newtownabbey/Bangor/Newtownards/Portadown areaHours: Partime / Full time - 2 days (min) - 5 days (7hr/day - 14 - 35hrs inclusive of travel time)Pay: £10-£12 per hour (weekly pay) + 45p mileage + holiday payThe RoleMarie Curie is the UKs leading end of life charity providing frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information and support on all aspects of dying, death and bereavement. This role involves being an ambassador for MarieCurie and a visible fundraising presence at a variety of venues. We have a range of shift patterns between 4 and 7 hours when you will be talking to membersof the public at pre-arranged venues to raise awareness of Marie Curie and recruit new long-term supporters for the charity via a monthly donationYou will be part of a regional team with the opportunity to work with team members and also work on your own. You will travel throughout your region to a variety of venues.Extensive training both online and in person will be provided on Marie Curies vision, mission and values, who we are, what we do and how we can help. Operational training is provided on how to engage with the public and structure conversations to ask fora regular donation as well as training on compliance regulations and admin processes for the role. Ongoing coaching and mentoring are provided with opportunities for skills development and career progression.This is a weekly paid role; hourly rates of £10, £11, £12 depending on relevant experience; training, travel hours and mileage (45p per mile effective from 4th April 2022) are paid as part of this role.Part time and full-time roles available.You will be working in a fun and supportive environment with plenty of progression opportunities.If you would like to work for an industry leading charity and are excited about travelling to new locations, please apply now and a consultant will be in contact with you.
