Transport Data AnalystBased in Belfast, a leading organisation is currently seeking a Transport Data Analyst to join their growing team.This is a Full-Time, temporary until the 31st of May 2024 (18 months)Hours of work: 37 hours per weekWith a salary of £32,339 - £35,932Job Role:You will be taking responsibility and ownership of customer Information data and the production of customer information for all channels - Digital applications and hard copy formats. You will also manage quality and compliance, testing/ troubleshooting,processes, and supply.Essential Criteria:

• Experience of managing large scale data including process management for a range of exports for multiple outputs/channels
• Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in IT or Business with a minimum of 1 years professional experience working with large and complex data in a compliance environment OR A minimum of 3 years experience of customer information delivery in a transport data environment with demonstrable knowledge of passenger information systems/ standards
• Proven experience delivering complex data improvement projects, particularly integration of large relational datasets
• Understanding of the Public Transport Industry and how Customer Information relates to conversion to travel
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbalwith the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels as well as having a strong customer focus
• Experience of working in a pressurised environment, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload, while adhering to tight deadlines
• Good relationship management skills with an ability to motivate others

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning & managing data processes and data flows; standardising data formats during import and export process of large and complex data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer information delivery for the group
• Quality management: Troubleshooting all data, providing guidance on standards, introducing data practices and where required training to data providers and system owners from other parts of the business, to ensure adherence to current, changing, and emergingstandards or data quality enhancements
• Manage projects to integrate new data sets or export new data types: review data structure and setup to define channel specific processes and standards for the introduction of richer or entirely new data sets
• Manage and improve the virtual network data structure: to support customer information provision including network modelling and parameter adjustments to manage interchanges, integration of services, guaranteed connections, and optimisation of walking interchanges
• Process design & management: departmental processes and workflows to generate a range of data outputs in specific formats for all channels and to manage release processes, this will include formal acceptance, upload management, print management and relatedbusiness continuity processes
• Communication of planned & unplanned incidents to customersthe right information in the right place at the right time as appropriate for channel/device/situation
• Manage daily data import process in a range of formats (e.g., cif and TXC), data integrations to ensure continuity of live environments/all channels
• Synchronisation of multiple data sourcesalign and match scheduled/real time/fares data sets
• Quality control and release management for 3rd party exports
