The opportunityThe EY Private Client Servicesteam in Belfast act for a wide range of high net-worth individuals,entrepreneurs, private equity principals, high profile professionalpartnerships and senior executives, and onshore and offshore trusts. Theservices that we deliver include tax return compliance services, transactionand reorganisation advice, advice on optimisation of wealth from a taxperspective, and estate and succession tax advice. Our client base is a mix of UK and non-UKdomiciled individuals. This is an excellent opportunityto join a fast-growing team with proven progression potential. The rightindividual will gain exposure to interesting and complex personal taxcompliance work, with full technical support from the senior team.Additionally, the individual will have the opportunity to work with more seniorteam members on tax advisory projects, and develop their skills to become askilled and knowledgeable private client tax advisor. Your key responsibilitiesEfficient management and deliveryof a mixed portfolio of private client tax compliance and relatedservicesResponsible for day-to-day clientliaisonMentoring and technical supportof junior colleagues, and review of their work.Build and maintain taxrelationships with clients and colleagues, providing excellent client service,identifying opportunities and managing expectations.Assist the senior team with thesuccessful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence andpractical/business driven approachOpportunityto co-present at technical presentations and network withclients/targets.Skills and attributes forsuccess Ability to plan and prioritisework, meet deadlines, monitor own budgets and fees.Ability to integrate with newteams quickly and build effective relationships at all levelsConfident with good relationshipskills and ability to manage client expectationsRelevant/appropriate personal taxexperience.
