A brand new job, a brand new opportunity, a rapidly rising and developing company with international presence Yes Yes please..REED Technology, Belfast, are calling out for a fast learning, dynamic engineer with experience in architecting, designing and implementing software subsystems/libraries, preferably within a Linux environment.Responsibilities- You will help to design and implement proprietary algorithms and exchange connectivity.- Work closely with traders and support teams to drive their low latency trading systems, using C++ and Linux.- Youll have the opportunity to work across sophisticated, cutting-edge automated trading environments, solving problems in real-time and implementing and tuning trading algorithms.- Youll be involved in taking exchange connectivity to new colocation sites, low level tuning of connectivity and integration with networks and the FPGA stackSkillset/Experience- FPGA experience is essential- Minimum 21 degree in Gaming Development, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related.- Must have demonstrable relevant industrial experience designing with FPGAs for high-speed data processing- Have worked within a fast-paced industrial setting delivering work to agreed schedules- Proven track record of embedded software system development from requirements, architecture, design, development and verification- Strong in C/C++ programming languages- Using multi-threaded and real-time SW Architectures- Experience with software development in a Linux and/or Windows environment- Experience in Python and OpenCL would be advantageous- Knowledge of high-level synthesis in C, C++ or OpenCL would be beneficial- Strong background in mathematics would be advantageous- Self-motivated and goal driven.
