Job Description

Second Line IT Support Engineer - 35kBelfastWFH initially and then 2 days in office per week thereafterMy client works within the pensions and wealth management sector, they are opening a new office in the heart of Belfast and are looking for a second line engineer to join the family.You would be working from home to begin with and then move to working from the office 2 days per week minimum after the office has been established. They have other offices throughout the UK, and there is an existing and established support team around you.Who are youYou would be someone who is able to work remotely with minimal need for supervision.You would need to be proactive and take accountability as you will be working by yourself most of the time.You will be someone who thrives when given responsibilityYou should have a problem solving mindset with a security first approachWhat is the jobSecond line support function supporting an internal user baseDealing with queries and issues across their IT systemsThey are a serverless environment so experience with Azure or other cloud is usefulWork collaboratively to resolve issues asap, escalating and seeking advice where necessaryUpskill other users to promote competencySharePoint Online administration assistanceBuild out the knowledge base by documenting solutionsTechnologies you will be working with:Microsoft 365MS Azure ADAzure Virtual DesktopsVirtual MachinesMicrosoft IntuneMobile Device ManagementNetwork issues (Cisco Meraki)SOC IncidentsSharePoint OnlineSecure Web GatewaySaaS appsSkills and experience:You will be organised, with great planning skills.Microsoft qualifications are a plus!
