Job Description

Create a performance-focused working environment, which promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the service. Develop the service to continue to delivera high-performing, customer-centric, professional, confident and efficient transactional recruitment service to customers.Main Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive set of measures to support day to day operational management of the team (productivity, utilisation and quality) and achievement of business goals
  • Manage workloads effectively, proposing and implementing suitable efficiency strategies to deliver on client expectations
  • Encourage continuous improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Collaboratively engage with the management team to share knowledge and maintain service levels across the business
  • Take action to identify, minimise and escalate risks and issues appropriately
  • Build auditable processes and procedures for meeting statutory and contractual requirements
  • Identify potential business growth opportunities in order to optimise revenue and develop Capitas business in NHS
  • Ensure adequately skilled resource is available to meet both current and future service delivery requirements
  • Contribute to maintaining an up-to-date business continuity plan for team; provide active leadership if its execution is required
  • Ensure active management and intervention on customer complaints and incidents including reporting in line with contractual and Capita requirements
  • Work in partnership with client HR community to develop and deliver improved recruitment services, which meet customer needs and corporate standards of HR policy and priorities
  • Demonstrate an expert knowledge of the operational processes and legislative requirements of recruitment transactions.
  • Ensure all relevant communication is cascaded effectively and feedback facilitated.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong recruitment management experience.
  • Experience of working with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Experience of working in an HR shared service environment in a management and operational capacity.
  • Substantial experience of managing teams within a performance management framework
  • Proven organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to plan and manage resources and services to achieve KPI/PI performance.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to ongoing change with the ability to recognise, develop and inspire those qualities in team members.
  • Well developed ability to lead; manage and develop high performing teams.
  • Target driven and adaptable with strong resource management capability.
  • Experience in interpreting and implementing Payroll and/or Employment Law legislation.
  • Experience of managing and implementing change.
  • Experience of developing, coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Experience of working in an operational, high volume, and fast paced environment.
  • Evidence of applying continuous improvement methodologies to achieve business efficiency and service quality.
