Job Description

Join us as a Prudential Risk Manager

  • Were looking for an individual to join the Prudential Risk team to support our engagement with the PRA
  • This will include supporting the analysis of regulatory developments and oversight of strategic regulatory permissions and deliverables
  • This is an opportunity to broaden and deepen your regulatory knowledge, to work with a broad range of experts across multiple areas, and to provide regulatory advice and guidance to the business
What youll doAs a Prudential Risk Manager, youll be developing and maintaining structured processes which analyse business risk profiles and decisions with reference to regulatory and risk policy requirements. Day-to-day, youll also be:
  • Carrying out governance and control activities including deliverables tracking, reviewing or preparing meeting minutes, reporting on process and control environment and tracking control remediation activities
  • Producing and reviewing process, controls, and framework assessments
  • Reviewing regulatory developments to assess potential impact on internal processes and regulatory capital requirements
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and preparing insightful advice for business consideration
  • Delivering change that enhances the efficiency or effectiveness of Prudential Risk analytical output
The skills youll needTo succeed in this role, youll bring experience of prudential regulation in at least one area, such as regulatory reporting, regulatory policy or securitisation. Youll also be educated to degree level in a numerate discipline with experience in risk methodologiesand processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment. Additionally, youll demonstrate:
  • A track record of delivery across multiple businesses, involving complex stakeholder and process issues
  • Broad analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good project management skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team, share ideas and learn from others
