Role / Team Overview:The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is looking for Senior Product Development Manager to join its Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) function, focusing on the design and management of a comprehensive exposure reporting toolset for the FO business. ICMhas been established with the objective to provide an integrated "end-to-end" credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. ICM coordinates with credit management groups across ICG businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices. The CCR Product Development team within ICM is responsible for building tools to a) provide in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve business problems and develop new, innovative solutions b) build tools to help measure, monitor and control counterpartyrisk for institutional clients and c) portfolios and businesses, with a focus on counter-party and collateral risk to ensure the risks are being properly measured and controlled in accordance with the Firms risk policies. The Product Developer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise.Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionalexternal customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
