Operations ManagerLocation: Our core centres are in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and in Chennai, India. Our focus now is on developing new modular solutions to meet client needs and to take existing solutions into new territories.The Head of People / Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of people management for their team and will work closely with HR to complete all associated tasks.Equally, you will be responsible for staff development through training plans and mentorship.Operations Manager / Head of People - Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management, including all aspects of resourcing, prioritisation, training, policy compliance etc.
  • Maximise efficiency and ensure budget adherence.
  • Ensure clear communication on project progress and full visibility to Senior Management.
  • Establish a Regular Reporting Framework and related KPIs to this end.
  • Monitor employee activities and provide guidance where needed.
  • Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees.
  • Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
  • Create and send reports to the Managing Director.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, training, and onboarding.
  • Conduct quality control tests to ensure organisation standards are being met.
  • Overseeing day-to-day activities in business operations.
  • Define and refine workflow and procedures.
  • Manage the customer experience and supportability function.
  • Develop and implement operating systems and work processes consistent with management philosophy and framework.
  • Manages all operational aspects of the area including productivity, cost, planning and daily business processes.
  • Ensures all personnel receive necessary and appropriate training for their job function.
  • Ability to direct individuals and delegate responsibilities and tasks.
  • Responsible for the product roadmap, change management, issue tracking, future developments to the product and liaising with the technology department.
Operations Manager / Head of People - Personal Specification:We are looking for an exceptional individual who is ready for the next stage in his/her career and who will relish the opportunity to drive the development of a multi-million-pound business over the next number of years.It is essential that you have:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Operations Management.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Fluent in English.
Knowledge of some or all the following will be a distinct advantage:
  • Information Security.
  • Risk, Control and Policy Compliance.
  • ISO 9000, 27000 or ISAE Compliance.
  • BCP and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  • Technology software development lifecycles and release management.
