Azure / Kubernetes or Docker / CI CD Our client, a UK-based software development company in the finance sector, is currently looking for talented and passionate DevOps engineers to join their team. The company has offices throughout the UK, but this role in particular is based out of their NorthernIreland office, which works in tandem with the companys other offices nationwide. The role will require the candidate to take technical ownership of the teams DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, as well as to work alongside other engineers and architects to ensuredevelopment best practices are held to, as well as acting as a subject matter expert and expert troubleshooter. The role will also necessitate a strong basis in Azure, as the company furthers its use and adoption of Cloud technologies. Responsibilities: - Managing the CI/CD and DevOps initiatives in the company, and ensuring that development follows best practice.- Produce and maintain documentation tailored for the software that the company designs. - Support the adoption of DevOps and Cloud technologies. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, design teams, architects and developers to produce quality, bug-free software.- Maintain abreast of new developments in the IT sphere in order to allow the company to stay ahead of the curve. Key Skills: - You must have a strong background in Azure, with at least 5 years experience using Microsoft technologies. - You will have experience with high-level programming languages such as C#.NET. - You must be well-versed in the building and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.- You will be able to implement microservices and containers such as Kubernetes, Docker and Openshift.- Be able to create and maintain cloud-based virtual machines.
