Job Description We are recruiting a Data Protection Manager to join an established team based in Dublin, who will be assisting in driving the organisations Data Protection Framework. Our client, in the financial services industry, is seeking to hire a Data Protection Manager. The successful candidate will be joining an established data protection team based in Dublin and assisting in the delivery of the organisations Data Protection Framework. What will you be doing
  • Support the Board and the Data Protection Officer by driving the delivery of the companys Data Protection Framework
  • Identify and report on Key Risk Indicators relating to Data Protection
  • Produce quality and essential reports to the firms Board, Risk Committee, Risk & Compliance forums
  • Identify and resolve data breaches and errors.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all data protection related queries by providing advice and support to peers and groups within the organisation
  • Provide training to staff on data protection to ensure awareness of the regulatory requirements.
Is this you
  • Experience implementing data protection frameworks, policies and processes in the finance services sector
  • Would preferably have experience in lending or mortgages
  • Experience promoting a data protection culture and data protection awareness within an organisation.
  • Good understanding of the Consumer Protection Code.
  • Excellent communication and MS skills
  • Works well both independantly and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Would preferably have or be working towards a professional qualification in data protection
