Job Description

Job DescriptionAre you looking to take part in a one-year placement programme in Financial Services We are offering talented students the opportunity to gain valuable insight and hands-on experience into our business. The placement will offer a 12-month immersive experiencestarting in July 2024 in our Belfast offices. The opportunity:We are recruiting for a number of Associate Engineers to join us on one year placement within our Application Development team, where you will gain unique insight and in-depth practical knowledge into the software development lifecycle. As an Associate Engineer you will support the technical delivery abilities of the development teams across all disciplines from development, testing, dev-ops and business analysis, ultimately assisting in the delivery of production systems. You will also beproactive in seeking opportunities to learn and extend your knowledge in the engineering disciplines through supervised contribution supported by more senior team members. What we require from you:
  • You will be a penultimate year student in a full-time study. You will have an expected graduation date of 2025.
  • A passion for working with people.
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of at least one full stack language as applicable to the role (such as Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python).
  • Can demonstrate both analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior exposure to the Microsoft Office suits (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
