This is a junior position where our focus will be on developing you to perform to your full creative potential. You’ll need to bring buckets of enthusiasm, plenty of ideas, creativity and a can-do attitude with the ability to get stuck in and help a small team.The role will be a hybrid between digital content creation and design work. A unique offering which will allow the right person every opportunity to work across social media management, digital writing including blogging, eCommerce mailers, videography and photography management.Whilst there is structure to the role, our Junior Content Creator will be confident in working flexibly and changing their planned day at any given moment to help meet the needs of the business.You will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and will continually look for new and exciting ways to push the business forward.The priorities for this role will change and develop so we’re looking for someone who is willing to grow alongside us and really make the role their own.How you’ll do it

  • Responsible for developing and creating multi-media content that can be used across a variety of outlets. This could be video, images, copy, web pages and social media content.
  • Support the Marketing Manager and wider eCommerce team with the development and maintenance of the company’s B2B eCommerce website.
  • Be responsible for monitoring social media, responding to posts and uploading content in line with social media and campaign plans.
  • Developing and leading engaging social media campaigns.
  • Research content and social media trends, innovation and competitor activity to maintain a relevant and current understanding.
  • Create written content and designs for email marketing activity.
  • Responsible for all video content creation across the business
  • Lead and provide guidance on all photography projects across the business, offering a creative eye and support to our photographer.
  • Drafting and distributing bi-weekly eCommerce mailers.
  • Supporting the wider team on either written or design projects ad-hoc.
  • Work with inhouse researchers and data analysts to understand market trends, taking that data to develop new creative ideas.
  • Coordinate between different departments and the marketing team, understanding and dissecting briefs.

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Keen eye for detail with excellent proofreading ability.
  • Problem solver who can demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Creative flair with confidence to create and present own ideas.
  • Experience and qualifications in producing and editing videos for a variety of medias.
  • An ability to spot a great photo, including directing, editing and retouching.
  • Desirable
  • Skilled in Adobe programmes or similar software
  • Experience using marketing software systems:
  • -Hootsuite-Mailchimp-Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience in both a B2B and B2C environment would be advantageous
  • Willingness to tackle new problems and learn new skills
