Job Description

OverviewWorking as part of the finance team, our Product and Buying Administrator will be responsible for ensuring stock levels are managed accurately. Working together with the buying team and across departments, they will identify discrepancies, generate codesand ensure regular lines are maintained.   • Working alongside the buying team to raise Purchase Orders and keep the systems as up to date as possible.
How youll do it
  • Accurate purchase order administration
  • Unique code generation/ maintenance - creating product codes for each product purchased
  • Stock amendments (price changes and purchase orders)
  • Routine checks for consistency / errors
  • Monitoring incoming stock and maintaining stock details
  • Accurate purchase order administration
  • Buying System amendments, price changes, PO Amendments, admin duties from the Buying team
What were looking forEssential requirements
  • Previous administration experience with an interest in stock management
  • Comfortable using Microsoft packages and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy
  • Professional attitude with awareness for the bigger picture
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Team player and able to work on own initiative
  • Problem solving and being proactive to solve errors

  • Experience in a similar, stock management role
