SHEQ MANAGER REQUIRED FOR NATIONALLY ACTIVE PRODUCTION AND TRANSPORT OPERATION LOOKING TO DRIVE FORWARD COMPLIANCE AND MINIMISE RISKTITLE: SHEQ Manager - Head of ComplianceSALARY: £55-75K DOELOCATION: Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire areaPREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Group Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager, Head of Compliance, Head of Heath & Safety, Group Compliance ManagerROLE: SHEQ Manager - Head of ComplianceYou will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environment and Quality across all operations within the businessYou will innovate and work to drive performance vs relevant KPIs e.g. improving near miss reporting, reducing LTAs and RIDDORs and make sure regular audits are in placeYou will maintain ISOs and if required lead on any other relevant accreditationsYou will deal with permitting and quality management systemsEXPERIENCE: SHEQ Manager - Head of ComplianceYou will have managed SHEQ at a management, regional or head of levelYou will have a background in a heavy / industrial production environment ideally with a distribution network. Examples of ideal backgrounds would include, Quarrying & Aggregates, Cement Kiln, Concrete Block Production, Building Products Manufacturing, Mining,Chemical Production, Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Foundry, Steel Works etc.You will be Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent as a minimum Higher qualifications desirableAny affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA as would any professional certification such as an MBAYou will have experience of ISO 18001. Any quality management / ISO 9001, or environmental management / ISO 14001 experience would be welcomeYou will have excellent IT skills
