Job Description

Major Recruitment are looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Sales Representative to work within a Manufacturing / Fabrication company based in Beeston-NottinghamDaily Job Duties

  • Understanding customer needs
  • Identifying new sales opportunities through calls and emails
  • Calculating and negotiating quotes and tenders
  • Re-establishing lapsed accounts.
  • Process sales orders and send order acknowledgements.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Keep customers informed on their orders.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Manage customer expectations.
  • Chase all quotations and record feedback.
  • Understand our products.
  • Liaise with team members and management.
Candidate Requirements
  • Working within manufacturing or engineering
  • Being proactive in securing new business
  • Some technical sales experience
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and how to close a sale.
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Work well within a team
  • Able to commute to other sites
  • Driving licence would be essential
Working Hours
  • Monday - Thursday (8am - 5pm)
  • Friday (8am - 3pm)
  • £24,000-£28,000k per annum (based on experience)
