Job Description

This roleThis is a fixed term contract for 12 months.MTVH are delighted to be recruiting a Regional Housing Team Leader to join our Customer Service function within The Hub and lead a team of Customer Housing Advisors in Nottingham. This opportunity would suit someone who genuinely believes that the recipefor a successful service is caring about their people, and the customers that the service is provided to. As a Regional Housing Team Leader you will be responsible for leading Customer Housing Advisors to deliver on housing and tenancy queries, as well assupporting the wider regional and directorate targets. You will do this by motivating and supporting the team to improve performance, identify training needs and increase customer engagement scores as well as recruiting to ensure the team is effectively resourcedat all times. You will be responsible for compliance and quality checks to ensure processes and promises are met and manage complaints within the team, flexing resource across teams and functions to ensure maximum capacity across the region. Working with otherTeam Leaders you will develop and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders, partners, local authorities and the DWP.What youll need to succeedYou will already be customer focused with a can-do attitude and a positive approach. You will demonstrate proven experience of managing a complex / high volume function as well as experience in managing performance in a coaching culture, sharing best practiceand encouraging learning. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the housing sector, housing and tenancy management to ensure high standards and compliance across the team. You will have the ability to remain composed under pressure and experience of leadinga team successfully through periods of significant change.
