Job Description

Would you like to join a renowned health care organisation and further your analytical skills Are you a confident financial planner with strong communication skills Are you looking for an extremely sought after remote working pattern If so, look no further!Robertson Bell are assisting this organisation to recruit an Interim Financial Planning Analyst on an initial six-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension and even permanent employment for the right applicant. They are currently operatingon an attractive remote working pattern – with the occasional office visit once a month.The Interim Financial Planning Analyst’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciling the system activity, to then upload data feeds for the Planning Managers to build their reports.
  • Liaise regularly with commissioners to ensure the correct amount of income enters the business - accurately calculating the financial impact.
  • Support with the production of the 2024 and 2025 activity plan, which will involve working very closely with the operational managers to creative realistic activity and resource plans.
  • Manage one member of staff, being their main point of contact with their day-to-day operations, motivating them daily, monitoring the production of the ledger reports, and answering any queries they may have.
The successful Interim Financial Planning Analyst will have:
  • Experience activity and resource planning, ideally within an NHS organisation, but the sector experience is desired not essential.
  • Previously managed at least one member of staff.
  • Experience using financial reporting softwares and Excel in previous roles, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, able to confidently communicate with various levels of seniority and those either from a finance or non-finance background.
