Job Description

Customer Accounts Advisor Role - Fixed Term Contract until April2024This is a great opportunity to join our Customer Accounts team located in our brand new office in Beeston. Our new office is a great environment to work in with beautiful surroundings, not to mention our onsite caf for lunch time dining. You will be partof a successful team working together to reduce rent debt whilst providing support to help customers sustain their tenancies.The position of Customer Accounts Advisor is responsible for the organisations income collection through proactive account management which is all telephone based.Key ResponsibilitiesWith the customer being at the heart of what we do, we provide an extended service to meet customer demands.Currently your contractual hours will be 37.5 per week (excluding all breaks), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00.Your pattern of work will be varied on a rota basis, and you will be notified in prior advance of your specific working hours if the rota changes.This role is eligible for hybrid working currently with 3 days in the office/2 days at home split.What youll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of the debt recovery legal framework
  • Knowledge of benefits system and its impact on customers and the organisation
  • Experience of collections is desirable
  • Experience in managing cases through the legal process
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • A background within Social Housing would be desirable
