Job purpose:Responsible for providing administrative support to the Asbestos Surveyor.Liaising with stakeholders in relation to asbestos works and emergencies. Arranging and tracking the compliant delivery of asbestos surveys, re-inspections, removals and repairs in line with regulatory requirements and client policy.Main accountabilities: Ensuring any properties that fail to give access are monitored. Liaising with contractors to arrange isolation of live services (gas, water and electric), provision of access equipment and reinstatement of building material to support required asbestos works. Ensure a compliant service is maintained at all times in linewith policy. Co-ordination of response to asbestos emergencies including liaising with asbestos contractors, ensuring safety of anyone affected and arranging for decanting of residents when required. Assisting Customer Care Team in the resolution of formal complaints- by investigating issues, interrogating systems and liaising with relevant stakeholders. Raise, monitor and complete orders and quotations in conjunction with the clients policy for asbestos surveys, re-inspections, removals and repairs work streams. Ensuring orders are raised to the agreed SORs and work completed in a timely manner. Using externally hosted specialist databases (e.g. ProMaster, Contractor Databases) to monitor compliance records, and coordinate the delivery of services. Providing training and support to new starters and stakeholders as required. Arrange and attend contractor and internal meetings, taking minutes, providing contractor and service feedback based on previously identified areas of improvement, highlighting any contract areas of improvement or non compliance.Key experience and qualifications required:Essential: Able to build and sustain working relations with key stakeholders in dispersed geographical locations. Proven experience of delivering service excellence to a customer base. Proven experience of excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills in order to meet deadlines. Proven experience of dealing effectively with difficult stakeholders and providing conflict resolution. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, along with proven experience of producing reports to monitor compliance. Excellent computer (IT) skills e.g. databases, spreadsheets and Outlook.Desirable: Any BOHS P cert or asbestos knowledge Excellent Excel knowledge with V Lookups
