Job Description

Job Role: Quality EngineerLocation: Bedlington Duration: PermanentShifts: 37.5 hours per week Monday - FridayRole Overview and ResponsibilitiesOur client is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our accomplished Electrical Manufacturing Quality team.   • In this role, you will engage in typical manufacturing quality engineer duties, including auditing systems and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • You will provide leadership and guidance to our technicians and junior team members, contribute to the continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, and motivate our manufacturing teams to meet our company KPIs, emphasizing quality. Participationin review meetings and documentation updates are also integral to your role.
  • Furthermore, you will focus on continuous improvement during our organizational transformation, applying problem-solving solutions through Quality Improvement tools, trend analysis, and techniques such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, and Mistake Proofing.
  • While the majority of your work will be based in Bedlington, there may be occasions where you are required to visit customers, suppliers, or training venues, potentially involving national or international travel.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Manufacturing Quality Expertise: Possess substantial experience in Manufacturing Quality Engineering.
  • Educational Background: Hold a degree, preferably in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline, or demonstrate equivalent experience or vocational training.
  • Auditor Certification: Certified Auditor in AS9100, TS16949, or ISO9001:2015 standards
