Maths Teacher with SEMH experience!Are you a qualified secondary teacher with a passion for SEMHIf so, this could be the perfect opportunity for youMilk Education are working with an independent day special school in Bedlington catering for pupils with SEBD and SEMH. The school is co-educational and can accept up to ten pupils aged between 11 and 16 years. Currently the school draws pupils from acrossthe North East and provides an environment where pupils can begin to address the myriad of problems that may confront and, or confuse them. We aim to provide a safe non-threatening environment where issues of abuse, bullying and social exclusion can be addressed.Classes have a maximum of four students and lessons are 35 minutes long. You will get lots of PPA time as 1300-1400 every day is for PPA with the class Teaching Assistants. Fridays are half days and this gives you extra PPA time, or time to build your skillsetthrough CPD. All classes taught are GCSEs, however if there is a low ability student in your class they will learn functional skills. We are looking for a teacher with the following qualities: Be an outstanding classroom teacher. Be highly motivated and enthusiastic with high expectations. Be committed to raising childrens achievements. Be highly motivated with the ability to inspire, lead and support other practitioners and members of staff. Be able to bring expertise, vision and creativity to lead the development of the curriculum. Be committed to developing and sustaining excellent relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers.
