Further InformationWe have an exciting opportunity to work for Northumberland County Council in our Home Improvement Service as a Home Adaptation Surveyor. We have 2 full time, permanent posts available however part time applications will be accepted.The role is interesting and varied requiring the ability to carry out technical surveys, produce detailed specifications and plans and assess fair cost of works to ensure a wide range of major adaptations, anything from level access showers through extensionsto property can be safely undertaken within the homes of Northumberland residents who have disabilities.The post holders have responsibility for the management of projects to ensure safety of contractors and residents throughout the works, adhering to health and safety legislation and providing professional and technical support on all related issues.
