Job Description

The main purpose of the role is to complement and enhance the existing finance team and work closely with other internal and external stakeholders and to provide providing an array of information to support decision making.Responsibilities will include;

  • Significant involvement with gross margin, standard costing, PPV and other variance analyses
  • Assist with preparation of financial analysis and reports
  • Drive improvements in reporting, from daily information through to annual processes
  • Providing and explaining financial information to non-finance related team members
  • Submission of month end HFM information to divisional and group teams
  • Assist in development of robust forecasting models for P&L and balance sheet/cashflow
  • Currency forecasting
  • Fixed asset management, physical verification, and capex tracking
  • Detailed balance sheet reconciliations and provisioning requirements
  • Provide finance support to the site finance and operations’ teams as required
  • Active participation and support of both internal and external audit processes
Key requirements:As an effective finance team member, you will be part of a well-regarded finance team, receptive to ideas and possess exceptional communication skills to both interpret and relay key financial information to your stakeholders.You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical and influencing skills to work with other non-finance departments.Exceptional Excel skills are a pre-requisite as well as experience using an integrated ERP system, preferably SAP.The successful candidate will be approaching the end of their formal accounting qualification journey (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and/or with significant experience in a similar manufacturing-based finance role.
