Job Description

Adecco is pleased to be working with a leading mobility company based in Batley who specialise in providing essential mobility solutions to enhance the lives of individuals.They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join their growing team.You must have Stores or relevant experiencePosition Overview:As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in our operations efficiently managing the receipt, dispatch, and documentation of partsPrimary Responsibilities

  • Receiving parts, booking them onto the system
  • Dispatching parts to customers and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and maintaining adequate inventory level
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming parts and materials, verifying accuracy and quality.
  • Book received parts into the system and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Prepare parts for dispatch to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain organised and clean work areas within the stores department.
  • Generate and maintain accurate documentation related to inventory management transactions
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to track orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment preferred.Behaviours
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems.
