Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a growing firm of Accountants based in Batley.This small firm are home to a few long-standing members of staff, creating a close-knit feel amongst colleagues. Now looking to grow their team to enable the firm to progress, they are keen to add new staff to their team!About the role:

  • Opportunity to manage your own small portfolio of clients.
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
  • Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Complete and review VAT returns.
  • Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.
About you:
  • Have at least 5+ years experience in a relevant role in an Accountancy Practice.
  • Can be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

  • Salary from £32,000p/a to £40,000p/a.
