Job Description

Job Role: Mechanical Site FitterLocation: BatleyShift: Days regularSalary: £16.50ph DOEMetalis is currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Batley. The company are looking to hire a skilled Mechanical Site Fitter on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.Job Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be required to have the experience and skills to carry out the role as Site Welder / Site Fitter.
  • Can work as part of a team carrying out engineering maintenance within the recycling, textiles, quarrying and agricultural sectors.
  • They must have the knowledge, experience and logical work ethic to be able to repair, replace or re-instate in a safe and professional manner and are required to have a conscientious approach to repairing and maintaining the manufacturing process equipment
  • Handing back over to our customers in a clean and safe state, ensuring that the environment around is also hazard free.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold full qualification within mechanical / Mechanical engineering qualification (or around this e.g. within engineering).
  • Welding qualification and experience is highly desirable as welding will usually be assisted with on site.
  • IPAF.
  • CSCS.
Shifts & Salary:
  • Wednesday - Thursday 6am - 6pm.
  • Overtime available - paid at basic rate.
  • 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
