Mechanical Design Engineer (Textiles / Lab Equipment)£40,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Development + Mon - Fri + Free On-Site ParkingBirstallAre you a Mechanical Design Engineer, looking to take the next step in your career with a company that are market leaders, and host a portfolio of household names such as Marks & Spencer, Next and Nike, where you will be offered ongoing development opportunitiesand the chance to continually develop a diverse bespoke product range, working from concept to completion, including prototype buildingDo you relish a hands-on design role, with a desire to design state of the art testing equipment and machinery, suppling to blue-chip client across a range of industries such as Fashion, Military and the F1, completing an array of activities such as, developingnew products and liaising with clients on their specific design requirementsThe company are a dynamic and fast-growing organization that specializes in the development of cutting-edge laboratory equipment, with specialist applications in the textiles industry.They are looking for a mechanical design experience, keen to form part of a highly skilled team, working on exciting new products, and ongoing development.The Role

  • Bespoke design and development of new products, with a focus on functional requirements, aesthetics, cost and safety
  • Create and maintain manufacturing drawings
  • Liaising with customers and clients
  • Build and refine prototypes
