Test Automation Engineer - Bath/Remote - Up to £55,000 + Bonus & BenefitsAn exciting and forward-thinking analytics provider based in Bath are on the lookout for talented Test Automation Engineer to come in and help shape the future of their testing practice.The is the chance to work closely with an innovative product within a vibrant workplace with a varied workload and a number of great work perks such as flexible working, subsidised gym membership and free lunch on Fridays!The role will be a mixture of 2 days working remotely and 3 days in the office, however if you would like to work in the office for more, you can!ResponsibilitiesAs the Test Automation Engineer, you will help with the improvement of the testing approach, advancing the automated test capability.You will implement automated tests, running them in a Continuous Integration framework based on GitLab, operating across a wide variety of software, including APIs, user interfaces and databases. As the Test Automation Engineer, you will also design and develop automated test scenarios using Gherkin.Youll ensure a thorough coverage in the testing of new functionality, including regression testing, as well as provide guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team.About YouAs the Test Automation Engineer, you will have excellent communication and organisation skills and will thrive working in a collaborative, team environment. You will be able to develop and maintain great working relationships, being confident and tactful in your approach as people look to you for help and inspiration.You will have proven experience of automated testing within an Agile environment, showing an understanding of how to develop tests from requirements and knowledge of JavaScript, Selenium and Cucumber.
