Job Description

Company - Long established, national provider, invests in workforce, long term serving and high performing national sales and install team providing domestic plubming and heating installations for new build projects and refurbishments includingrenewables such as ASHPs.Location - South WestIndustry - Plumbing, Heating, Unvented Hot Water, Hot Water Cylingers, MVHR, HIU, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHPs, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHPs, Renewables, Unvented Hot Water Systems, Domestic Heating.Benefits - Office based, make the step off the tools if not already. Overseeing other plumbing and heating engineers, advising, planning, setting out, selecting and specifying full domestic plubing and heating systems.Candidate - Expereinced Plumbing and Heating Engineer with industry qualifications and certifications e.g. BPEC, unvented hot water, Level 2 Plumbing and Heating, Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Water Regulations, Domestic Gas, F-Gas and ideallyexpereince with ASHPs.The PositionThis is a brand-new Plumbing and Heating Technical Engineer position on domestic new build and refurbishment projects has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest plumbing and heating installation providers in the UK.As the Technical Engineer you will oversee domestic residential housing heating projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes through local authorities and housing associations, including retrofit systems onexisting dwellings.The role combines home and office team working managing and overseeing installations, engaging with a variety of clients by phone and computer.If you are looking to take your plumbing and heating install engineering experience to the next career level, technically overseeing and advising others off the tools, with a stable and well established market leading company, that can offer continued longtermcareer advancement / development and training on renewables such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)then please apply now.The Package

Experience RequiredIdeally you will have a minimum of 5 years hands on plumbing and heating install experience combined with ASHPs, up to date plumbing qualifications and current industry regulation knowledge e.g. BPEC, unvented hot water, Level 2 or Level 3 Heating and Plumbing,water regulations, G3, Domestic Gas. F-Gas and Heat Pump Installation.Furthermore it would be of great interest if you have basic electrical qualifications so you have the ability to propose both plumbing and electrical wiring layouts on large projects requiring numerous air source heat pumps.Please still apply if you have no or limited ASHP install experience but extensive domestic plumbing experience installing or swapping out other heating systems such as gas boilers, oil burners, hot water cylinders, radiators, ground source heat pumps (GSHPs),solar PV, MVHR and Heat Interface Units (HIUs).
