Job Description

A world leader in Computer Hardware is on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineer (Backend) to join the enterprise Software team- a close knit team of developers working on the backend. The role is based in Frome - it will require infrequent attendancebut willingness to be in office a couple of times per month at most.Role responsibilities:

  • Develop backends software components and packages to support cloud-based secure signing systems;
  • Set up and maintain build pipelines for new and existing packages;
  • Assist in the preliminary testing of new versions prior to releasing to QA;
  • Provide assistance to the support team to investigate customer problems;
  • Engage with external partners to design and implement systems using Wacoms software products.
Role requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar positions
  • Experience with: C# .Net Core/5/6, Typescript & Git
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Self-driven person, highly motivated to acquire new skills and apply them in the ongoing projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Some understanding of emerging technologies such as - blockchain, self-sovereign identity and decentralized identifiers
