Senior DevOps Engineer | AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless | Bath and remote | Up To £70,000As Scaleups go, you wont find many better than this Bath based FinTech. With years of experience in the financial industry, their founder and CEO realised could dramatically improve upon current solutions through serverless technology, innovative architecture, and APIs. They have now grown to over 50 people and have won numerous awards for their culture, technologies and out of the box thinking.Their DevOps Lead has already built a well oiled and multi-talented DevOps Team, who have laid some excellent foundations. They now need a Senior DevOps Engineer to come onboard, get hands on with AWS and essentially be the Sous Chef to his Head Chef.They are a sticker for modern tech so youll have plenty of fun toys to play with and the freedom to try things your own way. Whether youre improving their CI/CD pipelines, automating their cloud infrastructure, developing modern monitoring practises, or just spitballing with the Dev Team to troubleshoot platform issues, no two days will be the same and youll always be challenged.They have a positive, open environment that promotes fresh ideas and experimentation, so you shouldnt be afraid to bring your experience to bear and challenge the established ways of thinking.Tech wise, they are looking for someone with a deep understanding of AWS, in particular serverless technologies such as Lambda and SNS. Youll also need a good understanding of CI/CD tools and best practises, and containerisation. Their tech stack is AWS, Terraform, Github Actions, Node, Docker and Kubernetes.They are very flexible when it comes to remote working, and many of the team only visit the office once or twice a week.
