Job Description

Registered Nurse - Residential ServicesThis post attracts a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade to enable individuals to join our permanent workforce. This is payable upon successful completion of your probationary period and is subject to eligibility criteria.Please note: We will only take applications from candidates who have the right to live and work within the UKResidential Services consists of three Community Resource Centres and five Extra Care Services which are based in Keynsham, Bath and Midsomer Norton.Charlton House Community Resource Centre (CRC) is currently a 30-bed nuing and high need residential care home based in Keynsham. You will be joining a friendly, passionate team, who are committed to providing excellent care to our residents. The natureof our work requires kindness and compassion as standard.The role of Registered Nurse is a rewarding where you can make a real positive difference to the residents living within Charlton House Nursing Home. This role is a permanent position. This role will be on a part time basis working on 30 hours per week ona fixed 4-week rota. This rotation will demand working days and nights. Shifts wll also include weekends and Bank holidays.Requirements for the post of Registered Nurse:

  • Must hold a degree or qualification recognised as equivalent by the NMC as a first level registered Nurse and held on the register.
  • The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement
  • Have significant experience within an older person setting and able to carry out the range of professional services and technical elements including clinical risk assessment and the development of individualised care plans.
  • The ability to be able to problem solve using demonstrable logical decision making.
  • Strong team player who with a collaborative work style.
  • Good levels of IT literacy including Microsoft Office and a knowledge of service-related systems.
  • High level of communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
