Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our team based at Cleeve Court, Bath that understands the BANES Councils visions and values for our service area. Cleeve Court is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) based inBath which is registered to provide care and support for residents needing residential /Dementia care. The care provided is for up to 40 residents.This role is a permanent role working 37 hours per week. There is also a requirement to be the occasional on-call manager across all Residential services sites (including nights and weekends), this is to provide emergency support to our teams.Our Registered Managers are responsible for ensuring our care teams have the structure, resources and motivation needed to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the older adults in our care. You will deliver efficient management, delivery,and development of our residential service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.Attributes & Experience desired for role:

  • An experienced care professional with proven domiciliary, nursing, or residential home management experience with a minimum of two years leadership experience.
  • Youll be confident in networking to increase occupancy levels and proficient in managing budgets, analysing/interpreting data, people, and other resources.
  • A supportive and caring leader who empowers their team to always do their best in delivering the highest standards of care.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • NVQ Level 4 or 5 preferred in management /leadership.
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines and proactive in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Developing and guiding the team of staff.
  • Develop strong relationship with acute /community-based hospitals and other healthcare providers.
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage workload.
  • It is desirable to have a good knowledge of discharge to assess process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of nursing standards and delivering of person-centered care.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda/Inspection and CQC Regulation processes in relation to monitoring residential / nursing Homes.
  • You will work and liaise closely with the Senior Leadership team including the Head of Service forging strong links across our service.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and other IT systems. This also includes the ability to understand and interpret spreadsheets.
